Danish for university students

Danish for university students - a labour market-related Danish course

Labour market oriented Danish is the publicly funded entrance point to learning Danish. The course Danish for university students, which has been developed at University of Copenhagen, is designed to provide you with study-related Danish language, relevant to students on a higher education programme.

Besides study-related topics, the course also focuses on general vocabulary and skills from everyday life outside the university. Overall, on the course you can learn to use simple but appropriate language, both spoken and written, in your everyday life both when studying and outside the classroom.

Our course concept is based on annual needs analyses carried out among the course participants in order to make the course as relevant and useful as possible.

Our course is for university students or other students on a higher education programme.

Will I get ECTS points for the course?

The course Danish for university students is a publicly funded extra-curricular course. That is, the course is not a part of curricula for the study programmes at the universities in Denmark and therefore you will not get ECTS points for your participation in the course.
